Events

The Institute hosts a number of events throughout the year in an effort to provide the public, professionals involved in aging issues, and the University community with additional opportunities to broaden their knowledge and understanding of aging and the life course. Our two main types of events are our seminars and our online workshops. The seminars are one hour and highlight and promote the research of our emerging scholars in the field of aging and all are welcome to attend for free. The workshops have a fee and are offered for 4 weeks online and geared to those working with older adults giving them an opportunity to learn best practices and interventions on various topics.
